Helpline / Nearby nobles

The nearby nobles (old system) tells me that a noble is 1500 yards away from me, but if I look on the map it says that noble is 300 meters away, except that its an expired marking and the noble is actually nowhere to be seen. The new system doesnt mention anything at all.
And I doubt that this person actually got outside my spotting distance, I have been right next to them this whole time but one turn they just up and disappeared when I was following them, and only the expired marking remained.


Also, whats up with having the old and new system anyways? Whats the difference? And why have both?

I would like to see the possibility to hide slumbering First Ones in the summary and status screens, probably also the map. You could have separate buttons on each of these pages or a character/account wide button. Though it should ofcourse be permanent until you click it again, and easily accessible while playing a character already I think.

Bug Reports / Losing equipment training when retraining

So I had some soldiers with javelin training, and because I thought I probably wouldn't be able to resupply their javelins I decided to check how long retraining them to shields would take. Luckily though I only checked and so did it with 1 soldier.
But that soldier then lost the javelin training, I am guessing that it is because she didn't have a javelin on hand right then.


EDIT: This retraining and then cancelling also apparently avoided the regroup timer and it automatically went to militia and then I could pick it out again... I imagine retraining shouldn't be possible when regrouping then aswell?

Helpline / Need some help with wealth buildings again

I was under the impression that you needed about double the amount of citizens of how many you needed to build it for it to become profitable to build it. So the amount that it says is maximum efficiency. But I just constructed a Town Hall in a town with almost 3000 people, and it made my wealth drop by -54...
Did I remember wrong or something?

Her adoptive father is apparently Andrew Calinus. So is this some new feature that is being tested? Something Andrew added just for himself? Or has it been in the game for a long time and ive just missed it?

Whats the stance on getting someone else to create a realm for you as a non-paying player? If it matters any i'd try to incorporate it into an RP aswell as kind of an "accepted by the local rulers as a realm" or something like that for a character of mine who isn't really a noble.
I have thought about getting the first level of subscription too but decided to mostly hold off on it until I see where the game goes and if it keeps developing and make sure I don't decide to quit soon after again. I'd probably also play the realm creation into a roleplay even if I was a paying member, though id create the realm myself then probably.

I think in the future it might be nice if we could change that particular part of a character after death aswell. I currently have a character long dead for example, played him before this feature was implemented, who i'd like to use this feature on but can't. And I can also see how it might be fun for people who become known as something either during the battle they die in, for their death or for some accomplishment during the battle itself. Or someone who did something but didn't become known for it before they we're dead already.

Realms Chat / Is it better now with few large realms?

So back when I played during like year five and before, there we're a lot more independent realms, atleast I think there we're. But now when I look at the map I mainly see 12 major realms, with half of those being about the size of Ascalon. And I'm just wondering, is the game better now with less realms than it was back then with more? I can't actually tell because I haven't been back for long at all, and I wasn't really that knowledgable of the world back then either, mainly just played in the area of Ryne and played in Grand Fate a very small amount.

Helpline / Bandit died, still on my characters page?

So a bandit character of mine died 5 RL days ago but is still on my characters page, I remember it being the case that they we're still on there for a bit, though 5 days seems a bit too long. Though probably not a bug im still wondering when I can play a new bandit?

I haven't really played in a while so I am wondering what equipment should I generaly try to use most of? Is it a rock-paper-scissor kind of thing or what? Not sure how simple it would be to answer but if not really possible to answer exactly i'd like to know just some general guidelines.

General Discussion / Progress Bar changes?

Has Tom made changes to progress bars and such? On the building page, the progress made on the construction of a building is very difficult to see, the colours are almost the same.
