Questions about lists
« on: March 19, 2017, 08:41:26 PM »
I have a few questions about the list system that isn't super-apparent from the manual.

First off, what does the public option do when creating a list?

And when adding permissions to settlements, what does the "and subs?" option do?

The public option currently does nothing, though the value is stored in the server. The goal is to make it so a list can be shared with your realm, if I recall correctly. I'm not certain how Tom, the original developer, planned to implement them that way, as I'd approach it a bit differently.

As for "and subs" this is only pertaining to characters, and it means that you also want any of their vassals (or subordinates) to also be included.

Any other questions?

Yeah thanks for the info, sorry about the delay.

One more thing, what are the "default" permissions for your settlements? Is everything just off by default for everyone but yourself?

That is correct.

If a settlement has a lord, it's default is to deny everyone but the lord.

If a settlement has NO lord, it's default is to allow anyone to do anything.
