M&F Dead?
« on: September 02, 2016, 11:53:27 AM »
So apart from a few things such as the Asrian remnants pushing into Rathgar, the rest of the game world seems to be dead to me. Anyone have any snippets of hope of RP?
Now I have a mental image of horses lined up in a goods factory, building things on an assembly line.

It is certainly not dead. If anything, we're getting new players again.

EI is alive, Ascalon should be alive if weirdly quiet lately, GF is talking about the Idraei situation.

De-Legro and I are talking to Tom about getting greater access to the game's internal bits, and Tom seems willing to fully pass the "M&F Project" off to the community, if I'm understanding him correctly.

I'm still actively developing the code when I find time, and organizing my thoughts into things I can code later. De-Legro is going to try to setup a test server soon so we can start actually testing these things we make and fix the bugs we have now. I tried myself, but setting one up is presently beyond my abilities. That said, my TODO list has 30+ items on it, ranging from reviving subrealms (just needs testing) to levying taxes on estates to building fortifications to adding guilds to a bunch of other things.

I will admit it has been a long time since I've had a good RP though.

I have been RPing non-stop in EI.

As someone in EI, I do not recently recall seeing any sort of elaborate RPs (or any RPs really besides just message traffic).

Are these conversations public?

Unfortunately they aren't.

Most of them are in regards to the Northern Restoration, and involving those who come to Aurora to claim land, and within the HoO.

Indeed most conversations and RP is private in nature.  And soon we will be making a far more...public move.  Stay tuned for that one kids.

But for the rest of you in the Imperium going "why isn't anything happening", well, to be fair, there is a lot of chances for anything to happen.  It honestly is up to you and how much you want to get involved.  If you would like not to, that's fine.  But there are outlets to allow for autonomy, political moving, and advancement.
