Feature Request: We know our own actions in battle

So, I know the game already records all this, but would it be possible for each person to see exactly when their character got a kill or was forced to withdraw or who they were wounded by, or at least how they were wounded?
Standing for the creation of interesting things since Year 1, Week 5, Day 4.

I think it should already say so in the battle report. I'm sure for kills it says explicitly in which phase and by whom.

Only says player kills. I'd love to know which troops I injured, killed, or forced to retreat in that battle - personally. :) I like looking at the logs of every single troop after battle and seeing who got kills and injuries, I'd love it if we could eventually "honor" our best troops somehow. Maybe silly little useless titles.

I'd still love to be able to nominate a Captain, who gets his own little honorable mention, like how we have captains in BM.

That would be utterly incredible. :)


Well, our char screen already tracks character battle prestige, mortal kills, noble kills, captures, etc... Having a private screen listing our special conquests, like in BM, would be very, very nice. A lot of people don't even realize how important that is. At our core, we are creators and achievers. Just seeing the numbers pile up goes a long way toward making people feel like their characters are achieving.

Hell, a "<xxx> troops mobilized" over the course of your career would be incredible for some of those older players. I'd LOVE to see how many times I've mobilized troops.


Though, of course, an actual character LOG for our players, like soldiers, would be wonderful. It'd provide a centralized location to check out every battle we've ever participated in, all in a nice neat list, show how many times we've been wounded, routed, retreated, captured, escaped, evaded, took over an estate, nominated for a title, and so forth.


Obviously this may take a bit of coding, so we can't expect something that monumental overnight. :) Still, I'm sure displaying character stats and especially achievements would do a great deal for a significant number of players, whether some even realize it yet or not. ;)

The good news is: You already have a soldier log, because during battle the game code treats you as a soldier. It just destroys it at the end of the battle.

Wonderful! That means this feature is possible. That's great!


Oh, and an old drinking buddy contacted me this week, a professional programmer for some big US corporation. He's offered to teach me to code in the past, and I'm considering taking up his offer. Hopefully in a few months I'll have enough knowledge to contribute to the game, code-wise. :)
