Slavery is good, better force workforce and you don't have to pay a single dime!

Actually...  ::)  Would it be more profitable to have a large and relatively inefficient workforce of underfed and cheap slaves, or would a more self-sustaining but smaller workforce you have to pay be more profitable? IT'S UP FOR GUESSES! We also have to take religion into account here I believe.

I really have no intention to start a discussion regarding this, and I would very much appreciate it, if my words are not used towards the purpose. I did not come to bash, or stand up for people, or anything of the sort, only offer my own thoughts, from my own perspective. I am sure new players peruse this thread, and they are no doubt drawn to the old thread, because it's locked, to see what locked it in the first place- and I merely wish to dispel any bad blood.

Roran's move to attack EI when it was already at war, is only even more a stroke of brilliance if he knew about EI's troubles. Whether he could win in a 1v1 or not, regardless, there is no reason to take those odds, when he could win in a 1v1v3. Was it chivalric? Righteous? That is something for Roran to decide, and all of us, ICly. Those of a militaristic nature will probably think it was a brilliant move of a strategist- those with strong ties towards the chivalric code will probably not agree.

But irregardless of all this, the RP that followed from that was memorable and interesting. It is up to people who lead the many Realms, to manage and direct their vassals' frustrations, and see to soothe the hurt that follows, when you win or lose. Managing a large realm, or being a duke, in a realm such as EI is not easy. It is vast and difficult to control- it is natural that the leaders will become frustrated when things happen, and I only ask that if this ever happens again, if it spills into the OOC forums, that you-- all of us-- have the consideration to understand that the seething words we may throw at each other, are possibly only something we feel in that moment.

I am very grateful that Roran is the leader of a neighboring realm- his separation of IC and OOC is admirable, and if he used his secondary character in the EI for information-stealing, he could've achieved far more than taking three regions- is what I think. I am also very grateful, that he is so RP-oriented, instead of trying to carve out a large nation, as if it was some impersonal strategy game.

Well now we have some border problems with the North. Looks rather interesting.

adjective & adverb
informal

I've highlighted and underlined the relevant portion. In other words, at best you could say it is slang. And contradictory at best, irregardless = "with regards", but everyone uses it in the same way you're supposed to use regardless (the correct form of the word).

A border conflict that seems to be escalating! Gorling nobles have been spotted in the Ascalonian crownlands with the tensions rising in the Northern border conflict.

Indeed they won't! It's the elite of the elite when it comes to garments, it's all the fashion in Abel's court, flayed skin off a northern scum!
