The Kingdom of Ascalon
« on: June 12, 2015, 01:27:30 AM »
Version 2 is live!

Now that the war is pretty much decided (spawn discussion-no jutsu!) I have opened a sort of competition for the new knights to put themselves forwards for the new County and the old slumberlighted one. If any of them reads this, I'll leave a hint that Rynir used to be a united Duchy, and that it may certainly be reformed, no matter what the Ascalonian law says about 'no internal wars'. All that is is an excuse to join either side in the war for the crown, but I suspect marriage politics and subterfuge can get one a long way.

Indeed, marriage and your typical politics can see this sub-realms united and be a contender to the other duchies. Finally Ascalon will have nice borders!

I wish to promote marriage in general inside Ascalon, but I'm setting a bad example by being so picky with whom to marry my royal daughters to.  ::)

Taticus of Hawks has just been ordered to marry and produce little Hawk babies. There is even a bride price to be offered, so long as the young lady proves capable of breading true Hawk warriors.

The Hawks may or may not believe that their founding fathers currently take the form of extremely large and generally cranky Hawks. It is all rather hard to say, they insist anyone entering the temple where they dwell do so blindfolded.

An interesting peace! The Kingdom of Ascalon achieved its wargoals and took them, but also established plans for a future royal marriage with the Imperium, and thus also an alliance.

The amount of Ascalon's allies is over 9000. It's gonna be interesting to see the next conflict.

I don't :D He's a very interesting character who's an absolute pervert and a depraved, cruel person. Perfect for generating some discussion!

Heated argument whether slavery should be allowed or not. Of course, Theronna sees profit and how it is kind to enslave the lowest of peasants.  ;D
