Characters in multi realms
« on: March 18, 2014, 04:50:54 AM »
Now Im not against players being in more than one realm but what really irks me is we are 3-4 separate realms with NO PRIOR history together and some players use a single family surname and have characters that are even related to each other.

Get some originality and give your other realm characters their own surname and family.

Maybe they want to play a family and that's what does it for them?

I left my family when I was 16 and travelled, I ended up living in a different country altogether but I still share their surname.  What does it matter?  Kinship does not mean friendship and a shared blood does not require a bound or unified future.

I can't speak for everyone, but the dispersal of the Gladwin name is deliberate; two siblings and a cousin were sent out from the Old World on three different ships, landed in three different places and set about their work from there.
